SunGuard® CrystalGray™
New high light transmitting light gray glass
with improved solar control capability.
Architects who want glass with neutral color and superior energy performance have a new option: CrystalGray float glass from Guardian Industries.
Quarter inch (6mm) CrystalGray has 65% visible light transmission and an improved light to solar gain ratio compared to conventional gray or blue float glass.
CrystalGray can also be combined with selected coatings from Guardian’s SunGuard product line such as the SuperNeutral Series or AG Series coatings. Coated CrystalGray reduces heat gain to levels achieved in the past only by highly reflective glasses to help architects meet stricter energy codes and achieve LEED certification.
The combination of attractive appearance and impressive performance makes Guardian’s new CrystalGray the perfect choice for a wide range of architectural glass applications.
Guardian CrystalGray is currently available as uncoated glass. Like standard float glass, Guardian CrystalGray can be used monolithically, tempered, laminated and fabricated. It can also be used on the exterior or interior lite of a vision insulated glass unit or in spandrel glass applications.
CrystalGray will soon be offered with certain SunGuard® Advanced Architectural Glass coatings, through the independent SunGuard Select™ Fabricator network..
